SUMMARY

World War II was a global conflict and depending on your cultural background it began in 1931, 1939, or 1941. World War II began for the United States of America with the attack on Pearl Harrbor, Hawai’i, on December 7, 1941. A brief overview of the Pacific War is presented as well as information about World War II that occured in other parts of the globe.
