SUMMARY

Over time, human beings have created numerous structures all over the globe that were once thought to be mysterious, such as those located at Cahokia (Illinois) or Chichén Itzá (Mexico) or Easter Island (Chile). In the Polynesian Kingdom of Tonga, the Ha'amonga a Maui was built for a specific purpose and in Machu Picchu (Peru), as well as Nan Madol (Pohnpei) and Stonehenge (England), massive creations were built by human beings for specific reasons.  Why were they considered mysterious?
