  • Course Description

    ANTH 013H Honors in Introduction to Cultural Anthropology
    (Prerequisites: Acceptance into the University Honors Program.)

    The phenomenon of culture and its profound role in structuring the individual's experience of reality. The range of diversity in human socio-cultural institutions. Some explanations for similarities and differences in human cultures. Exploration of the contemporary relevance of anthropological perspectives, data, and methods. This is an approved General Education course. This is an approved Non-Western Course. (1995-1997 Catalog, Page 175)


    Course Objectives

    The objectives of this course are as simple as ABC:

    Appreciate Basic Cultural Diversity Everywhere.
